NATIVITY SCENES

Hand made ceramic sculptures.  Perfect for Christmas.  Did you know the history of Nativity Scenes go back to over 800 years ago when St Francis of Assisi created the first Nativity scene to help children understand the true meaning of Christmas? It was set up in a cave in Greccio, Southern Italy, with living people playing the parts. Since then countless children and artists have made smaller ones out of wood, pottery and other mediums.  I feel very privileged to be following this age-old tradition.
