The Australian Oxford Dictionary defines a "Vessel" as a hollow receptacle for liquid etc e.g. domestic utensil for preparing, storing, or serving food or drink".

My pottery "vessels", cups, beakers and bowls are made to be beautiful and used.  Each one is wheel thrown, decorated with glazes and oxides and kiln fired.  No two are the same.  Each one is a spontaneous painting on a different theme.
